The food was excellent. The service was great (thanks Jawail!).
We started with an order of Gobi Manchurian for a starter and it was incredible. The sauce was the perfect match of sweet and spicy.
We then ordered the chicken Shinwari Karahi and the goat Hyderabadi Karahi. These two plates were tasty with a medium spice level that was perfect for a cooler afternoon. The portions were generous and we probably brought more food home in bags than we actually ate in the restaurant.
If you haven't tried Aga's yet, it's very much worth the visit.

I finally had the chance to visit this restaurant last month with my family. It is one of the largest and busiest restaurants I have ever seen 😀 truly impressive ! Superb atmosphere and the food is excellent 👌 outstanding goat chops & mutton kebab with naan was delicious 😋 Overall food quality was truly exceptional 👏 For me, butter chicken was average, but everything else exceeded expectations. I would definitely love to visit again ! If you are around Houston and a meat lover, this place is highly recommended 👍a must visit !

Agas is hands down one of the best places to go for any celebration — and there’s a reason it’s always at the top. The biggest thing that keeps us coming back is consistency. Everyone has different tastes, but Agas delivers the same quality and flavor every single time.
We had our first meal here years ago, and even today, the taste feels exactly the same. That’s rare. No surprises, no compromises — just reliable, delicious food every visit. Another thing we love is that there’s always a wide variety available, and you never hear, “this item is out of stock.”
On top of that, the service is excellent. The staff is well-trained, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely welcomed, which adds so much to the overall experience.
This is why Agas is our go-to place and why it continues to be number one for us. Highly recommended for family dinners, celebrations, or even a simple meal done right.

Aga’s Restaurant is truly in a league of its own. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy, the aroma of freshly prepared spices, and the passion behind every dish. This is not just another restaurant—it’s one of Houston’s finest dining experiences, especially for anyone who appreciates authentic, bold, and unforgettable South Asian flavors.
Every dish we tried was phenomenal, but the standout was the halwa puri—a rare treat in Houston that instantly reminded us of Pakistan. The puris were perfectly puffed and golden, the halwa was rich and fragrant, and the chana had that unmistakable homestyle flavor. It brought back memories of true desi Sunday breakfasts, something you simply can’t find just anywhere.
The flavors were deep, perfectly balanced, and cooked with the kind of care you rarely find. The meats were tender, the gravies rich and aromatic, and every bite reminded us why Aga’s has such a loyal following. Whether you’re ordering their signature grilled items, their legendary karahi, or any of their traditional specialties, the quality is unmatched.
The service was warm, attentive, and professional, adding to an already fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it perfect for families, gatherings, or a memorable night out.
Aga’s is one of a kind—a place where food, hospitality, and authenticity come together effortlessly. It’s no surprise it’s considered one of Houston’s must-visit restaurants. We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit.

I could see why there’s so many good reviews about this restaurant! Great casual place to get great Indian food! The service was great, the menu had pictures which was helpful. The prices were amazing! My favorite thing that I got was the chicken lollipops, I would get that every time if I were to come back. The buttered chicken was very good, the taste of the butter. Curry was slightly underwhelming, it had spice, but no rich flavor but overall highly very good especially the chicken itself. The non-also was good but wish it was a tiny bit more crisp beer. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would be coming back.

We stopped by Aga’s while in the area and were blown away. It’s in a strip mall, but the food is truly excellent. We dined in and ordered the Aga’s platter, garlic naan, and goat biryani, and everything was packed with flavor and came out piping hot — you could actually see the steam coming off the food when it hit the table.
The service really stood out. The staff took time to walk us through the menu, helped us choose meats and spice levels, and made the whole experience easy and welcoming. We were seated right away with no wait. A spot I’d happily return to.

Had an amazing dining experience here! From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on—the service, the ambiance, and especially the food. We tried the dynamite shrimp, white kadai, and goat chops, and every dish was packed with flavor and truly unique in its own way. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the taste and presentation.
A special shoutout to Saman, who took excellent care of us and made the experience even better with her attentive and friendly service. Definitely a place I’d recommend and look forward to visiting again!
